Hey folks👋🏽
By the time you read this, I’m probably 30,000 feet in the air on a flight to Cancun to meet up with the Buffer team. This is the most excited and nervous I’ve been to get on a flight (and I just went on my first solo trip to Paris). I stan remote work as hard as I do Zendaya, but I’ve been craving that in-person magic, and I’m about to be hit with a week’s worth of it.
Keep an eye on Buffer’s social accounts for the shenanigans we’ll get up to it and I’ll see you in 2 weeks! Let’s get into it!
💌 In today’s email: - 🤝🏾 From sharing learnings with other creators to finding and negotiating brand deals, these communities are a treasure trove for creators
- 📱Mitra shares an audio to show off your business
-
📣 The latest social news, features, and bonus reads
- And as always, all the latest and greatest content from the Buffer blog.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next Friday! |

🖊️ Deep dive: 15 Communities for Creators to Help You Connect, Learn, and Find Brand Partnerships |
Life as a creator can occasionally be a little… lonely. Whether you’re growing your audience as a full-time gig or side project, a career as a creator doesn’t come with colleagues to grow with and learn from.
That is unless you join one (or several) of the communities Kirsti hunted for this list. - Adolescent Content’s Storyteller Community: For artists and UGC content creators
-
#BLKCreatives: Black creators and professionals looking for inspiration and support
- The Buffer Community: Learning from and connecting with a variety of creatives leveraging social media.
-
Canopy: For creators in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle niches looking for brand partnership and collab opportunities.
- Clara for Creators: For creators navigating brand deals also known as the “Glassdoor for creators”.
-
Creatives for Climate: For climate-conscious creators to network and learn.
- Creator Kitchen: For marketers looking to become trailblazers in their space and connect with other leaders.
-

- Creator Wizard: For TikTok and Instagram Reels creators looking for sponsored content opportunities
-
Colin and Samir’s Discord: For YouTubers looking to improve their content quality and grow their subscribers.
- HeyCreator Community: For creators in professional industries looking to branch out with their own newsletter or course offering.
-
Instagram Creators Broadcast channel: For who it says on the tin.

📱Social tip of the week from Mitra, Buffer’s Social Media Manager
|
“Oh you’re a [business/profession]? What do you [do/make]?”
This is an easy and quick trend to show off a little! You can use however many clips you like, but use the first part to add text that says something along the lines of “Oh you’re a [insert your business / profession here]? What do you [do / make]?” And then transition into showing your product or business in any way.
Check out this example from @hamburg_ceramic where they use the prompt to say “Oh, you’re a small handmade business? What do you make?” And they show multiple clips of their ceramics.
