Hello my friend!

For a long time, I sent a full welcome sequence when someone signed up to receive emails from me.

And by a lot of measures, it worked just like people say it does:

• It made it more likely for my emails to hit your inbox
• It drove traffic to my podcast, courses, and membership​
• Some people would even respond directly

...but I sorta hated it.

And I pay attention any time my mind goes to, "...but I sorta hate this."

So this is the only email left in my "welcome sequence."

I'm not trying to move you through a funnel. I'm grateful that you consented to hearing from me in the first place. And my next newsletter is coming on Sunday.
