These Founders Built a $150k Health-App Portfolio 🏃

After seven years investing at Jason Calacanis' venture fund, Presh Dineshkumar wanted to build. Rather than start with an all-in-one health platform, he and his cofounder launched separate apps for cold exposure, sunlight, and posture. The portfolio now brings in more than $150k ARR, and is converging in Tempo, an AI health companion.
Each app the founders buit solved one immediate problem, earned subscription revenue, and showed the team what health-conscious users actually wanted. Which uncovered a bigger opportunity once people started paying…
Wearable and biomarker data was plentiful, but guidance for better daily decisions was not. So they built Tempo to solve that exact problem.
Check out the full interview! It's a great look at using small, indie hacker-scale products to find a bigger opportunity.

Bite-sized growth tip 🍪

Record yourself using your product in the wildest possible setting.
Roy Lee built Interview Coder, an AI assistant that helps candidates pass coding interviews in real time. For his demo, he skipped the polished product tour and recorded himself using it during a real Amazon technical interview. Then he posted the footage publicly.
It blew up (for better and worse). Lee was expelled from Columbia and banned from LinkedIn and Reddit, but Interview Coder reached $1 million in annual revenue in 36 days. It now makes $110,000 a month.
