In honor of SXSW, let’s look at this 6th Street Mural, designed and created by Jed Taylor and his team at Sanctuary. The mural is a tribute to Austin, Texas, known as the Live Music Capital of the World. Funded and painted in 2012 in collaboration with the Downtown Austin Alliance and the Austin City Visitors Bureau, this hand-painted mural adorns the historic 6th Street district, capturing the vibrant spirit of the city and its deep-rooted musical heritage, celebrating both locals and visitors alike.
