It is a national ritual as time-honored as the Hunger Games: once a year, a group of 20- 29-year-olds from across the United States (somehow mostly Florida and the DMV) are selected and divided into categories as “Islander,” “Bombshell,” “Casa Girl,” and “Casa Boy.” Hidden cameras capture their every move and makeout, confessionals capture their every mood and occasionally even more makeouts. They don’t have any devices (they can’t even talk about books or movies!), but the rest of us are glued to ours.
