A purely Italian point of view The busiest week of the year for Milanese fashion has come to a close: 61 runway shows, dozens of debuts, and one clear throughline, the tension between heritage and experimentation. While the great designers reinterpreted their own historic codes with fresh eyes, emerging talents brought forward visions that were often fresh, sometimes radical. Black made a strong return in dialogue with white, midi skirts brought the knee back to center stage, silhouettes reclaimed the spotlight, and palettes moved between pastel shades and bolder colors. This is the Milan we just watched on the runway and the Milan we'll find in our wardrobes in the months to come.
